Dear Journal,
Last night I had such a fun time picking wildflowers with Chanu. We picked all kinds of wild flowers such as corn flowers and orange cosmos. I can't wait until tomorrow! We are having our Green Corn Ceremony! We will have corn! I love corn but my favorite thing to eat is fry bread. My Mother says it is a staple and I agree with her. I don't like grape dumplings though but i am forced to eat them. Oops, there's Mother calling more tomorrow if I have time (because of the festival).
